About Our Team

This Bible teaching program started during the total lockdown in Uganda in March 2020 since people were not able to attend their churches due to COVID-19 lock-downs. We are a team of born again Christians from Soroti, Uganda. We are sponsored by Resonate Global Mission. The purpose of our program is to see peoples’ lives transformed and that people would grow in their knowledge and relationship with God.

Reverend Anthony Sytsma

Reverend Anthony Sytsma is from the United States and works for Resonate Global Mission in Uganda. He is ordained as a Minister of the Word in the Christian Reformed Church of North America but attends P.A.G. Soroti Pamba Church. He is the lead teacher of the Going Deeper Program. He also hosts a podcast called Meet an African Pastor.

Elder Richard Okiror

Elder Okiror Richard is from P.A.G. Soroti Pamba Church. Richard is the lead coordinator for the Going Deeper radio program. Most questions and prayer requests should be directed to Richard. Richard is also the one who trained Rev. Anthony in radio ministry. He lives in Soroti, Uganda. Richard also leads and preaches in the morning ETOP radio program at 5:00am every Thursday.

Rev. Stephen Omoko

Reverend Stephen Omoko is an ordained pastor in Nakatunya PAG Church Soroti Assembly. He is also the Head of the Education Department at Central Teso Pastorate. Currently Reverend Stephen is training as a marriage and family therapist. On the Going Deeper program, Stephen is a teacher of the Word. He lives in Soroti City, Uganda.

Evangelist Sammy Mbote is from the Anglican Church of Kenya (awaiting ordination). He is currently serving at the Diocese of Nairobi St. Cecilia Tassia. He translates the radio recordings from English to Kiswahili. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya.
